Taking advantage of the long weekend thanks to Presidents Day we went to Las Vegas. Flying out Friday evening after work and returning Monday evening we spent 2 days in Vegas and Sunday at the Grand Canyon (most of it in a bus on the way to/back from Grand Canyon). It was really worth the trip, all the casinos/hotels (that seems to be a synonym in Vegas) at the strip are just magnificent. Both during the day and at night one can spend the whole day just looking and wandering from one place to the next one, just see for yourself here. The Grand Canyon really is one of the natural wonders of the world, standing at the rim looking down the canyon was unforgetable. The pictures are not able to catch the full beauty of this site.The work week has been long and stressful (after all it took me over a week to finally get to write this post) but we're making progress. Two weeks left to go and it we'll go back to cold New York...
